Setting Up Payouts

How to connect your bank account via Stripe, payout timing, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Before you can receive commission payments, you need to connect your bank account through Stripe Connect. This takes about 5 minutes.

How to connect

  1. Go to your partner dashboard
  2. If your bank isn't connected yet, you'll see a banner at the top: "Connect your bank account to receive payouts"
  3. Click Connect bank account
  4. You'll be taken to a Stripe-hosted onboarding page
  5. Enter your personal or business details and bank account information
  6. Return to your dashboard when complete

Stripe handles all banking details directly — Golden Wealth never sees your account numbers.

What Stripe will ask for

Stripe requires identity verification to comply with financial regulations. You'll need to provide:

  • Legal name and date of birth
  • SSN (last 4 digits for individuals, full SSN for business accounts)
  • Bank account and routing number
  • Business details (if applicable)

This is standard for any platform that sends money — it's Stripe's requirement, not ours.

After connecting

Once your Stripe account is verified, your dashboard will show a verified status and the connect banner will disappear. You're now eligible to receive payouts.

If your account is still pending verification after a few hours, check your email for a message from Stripe — they sometimes request additional documents.

Payout timing

Commissions are paid out monthly by the Golden Wealth team. There is no automatic payout schedule — payouts are triggered manually. When a payout is issued, all of your pending commissions are transferred in a single bank deposit.

Stripe typically takes 2–5 business days to deposit funds into your bank account after a transfer is initiated.

If the connect button doesn't work

The connect flow requires your application to be approved. If you're still pending, the button will not be active.

If your application is approved but the button shows an error, contact us at partners@live-golden.com and we'll sort it out.

Changing your bank account

To update your connected bank account, you'll need to go through Stripe's account management. Contact us and we'll send you a new onboarding link.
